I have a 2001 BX2200 and bought a woods xt148 brush hog today. It's used but was never used. I sized it up and it looked like it would easily fit my BX but it doesn't seem to fit very well. I tried a couple different top links. I just think the hitch arms don't come out far enough for it to fit properly.

The BX is a cat1 but I am finding a lot of cat1 stuff takes some tinkering to get to fit. It looks like this will work, ( I actually had it on and running) but it doesn't lift very high at all before the driveshaft is without any flex. Looks like that will need to be cut down. Then I took the shaft off and it still doesn't go very high because it hits the sides of the arms.

I think I'll be selling it. Looks like I made a mistake. I have several other cat 1 implements from a york rake to a king kutter finish mower and they all fit. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Jim

There are 2 sets of holes. One is higher and the right size, the other set that is lower is much smaller and I don't see the hitch bolts fitting through there. Could this be a spot to put cat 0 pins? I was looking at it tonight. It just doesn't want to fit right. What is your opinion on cutting the two ends of the drive shaft to make it fit? Is this a big deal in regards to safety? ....

oneace , i've been banging my head on the wall saying I know i saw it somewhere. THAT'S WHERE!

Thanks...It just still seems too big to get level. The pins are in the middle set of holes. The lower set of holes are just too small for them to be for the 3 point pins. I think I bought something that's too big for my litle machine. ....

Some time you have to trun the lower pins to the inside to hook up.
